Our Story
Since 2020, Velmora Chroné has measured success not in units sold, but in decades a watch keeps running.
Geneva Atelier · Est. 2020
In 2020, Mohammed Shibili founded Velmora Chroné on a single conviction: a watch should outlive the person who wears it. No shortcuts, no compromises — just patient, deliberate craft.
What started as a small, focused vision has grown fast, but the conviction never changed. Every hand-finishing technique built into Velmora Chroné from day one is still the standard every artisan who joins the atelier is trained on.
Mohammed Shibili
Founder, Velmora Chroné
Mohammed Shibili founded Velmora Chroné in 2020 with a simple goal: build timepieces that are judged by how long they last, not how loudly they're marketed. Every product decision since has been built around that same standard — honest materials, deliberate craftsmanship, and no shortcuts, even when shortcuts would be easier.
— M. Shibili
The Journey
Mohammed Shibili founds Velmora Chroné, built on one rule: never rush a movement.
Velmora's first in-house chronograph movement debuts, hand-assembled from over 200 components.
A second workshop opens to train the next generation of master artisans under one roof.
Our hand-finishing process is formalized into the 400+ step standard still used today.
Velmora Chroné timepieces are now worn in over 40 countries, each one still finished by hand.
What Guides Us
Patience Over Speed
A single dial can take weeks to finish. We never compress that timeline for volume.
Honest Materials
Every component is sourced and disclosed — no fillers, no plating shortcuts, no surprises.
Lifetime Accountability
If a Velmora watch fails from craftsmanship, we repair it — decades after purchase, no questions.
Apprenticeship First
Every artisan trains for years under a master before touching a customer's order.
